How to Glow Up From the Inside




In this day and age, we’ve all been in a position where our self esteem or confidence has been threatened . But sometimes, this feeling isn’t just temporary, it can stay forever. But with some self care, and other tactics. You can turn into a better, happier, and healthier person. Glowing up from the inside is not easy.


Sometimes, it can take a while. But that’s totally okay! We are all different, and it’s perfectly acceptable to take your time and heal yourself. First off, you need to realize that glowing up isn’t just for appearances, it’s also about helping yourself from the inside and your perspective on your own self! Additionally, things happen. We’re all human, we make mistakes and have negative encounters. It’s natural. But what’s up to you is how to get through it. Understand that stuff happens all the time, sometimes it’s not even in our control. But we can only move forward from these positions.


Now for the actual process. There are roughly four steps in glowing up: (though these steps are intricate) realizing the problem, restoring your confidence, learning to love yourself, and enjoying life despite negative things happening. Step 1 is fairly easy, you need to realize what is making your mindset this way. What is deprecating your confidence, and esteem? Finding the root of the problem can allow you to reflect and find out ways to make it better. For example, if you have a toxic person in your life, someone who is doing nothing but pulling you down and making you feel bad about yourself, discuss how they're making you feel, or cut them out.


The next step is a bit more complicated. Restoring confidence can be a very long slow process, or it can be quick. It just depends on the person! There are several ways you can restore confidence. Surrounding yourself with people who care, daily positive affirmations, journaling, and having some alone time are all great ways to help your confidence and boost your morale. Just remember to take your time. No one is going to rush you!


Next, You need to learn to love yourself. This is a vital step in the process, and requires you to understand that you’re only human, and humans make mistakes, they have quirks, and look different from each other. Understanding the concept of human nature can help you through it. Know that a positive mindset and attitude towards yourself is better for leading a happy and healthy life. Ways you can learn to love yourself are: Meditation, Mindful movement, and surrounding yourself with joy and happiness and not allowing any negativity or limiting negative thoughts. Create a self-care routine, read, and do things that interest you. Your last step is basically a summation of all 3 steps.


Enjoying life is a culmination of having confidence, proper habits, positivity, and good self-attitude. If you implement all the prior steps correctly, the enjoying life bit comes quite naturally. But through it all, just realize, there is no pressure or rush to fix these things within you. Take your time and slow down. It’s never an easy process, but if you’re willing to cooperate and work with yourself, it can ease a bit. Love yourself no matter what!
